34m x 12m Flat Top Barge

Steel Rover - 34m x 12m Flat Top Deck Cargo Barge.

Steel Rover is an Australian built flat top deck cargo barge with 654T maximum deadweight and approximately 408m² of unobstructed deck area. Built in Queensland in 1990 by the Parnwell Brothers, she has been exceptionally well maintained and presents in excellent condition. The photos and video attached were taken in July 2026 and are evidence of her excellent condition.

With a loaded draft of 2.3m, lighthsip draft of 0.6m, hard chine hull with 8mm bottom plate and 20mm deck plate, swim end bow and stern sections, she is well suited to a range of bulk cargo operations.

Deck equipment includes:

- 4x sets of double bitts each side port and starboard

- 4x hooks for a bow ramp (ramp not included)

- 4x roller/swivel fairleads, one on on each corner with fixed deck wire guides

- various deck pad/tow eyes

- 10x tyre fenders down either side

Currently surveyed under a Queensland Certificate of Operation in 2B, the Vendor is in the process of transitioning to full AMSA survey which will be completed prior to settlement, with no issues anticipated. Her official number on the Australian Shipping Register is 857169.

Currently located in Brisbane, QLD and available for inspection by appointment. The vendor's preference is to sell en-bloc with the 15m harbour tug HT Salute, and package offers will be looked on favourably. Individual offers will also be considered.
